Google Adsense Review

Google Adsense is a free to join, pay per click program that you can use, in addition to affiliate programs to make money from your website or blog.  Adsense is simple to set up, you can match the colours of the adverts to your site, and when someone clicks on one, you get paid.

Most people use Google Adsense as a supplement to the income they already get from their websites, although some people - bloggers in particular make a huge amount of money from Google Adsense.  Famous Problogger, Darren Rowse makes a large part of his income through Google Adsense alone, and the owner of the Ask the Builder website makes over $300,000 a year from Google Adsense.

Some people avoid using Adsense, as they believe it takes customers away from their websites, but my view is that those customers are going to leave your site at some point, so you may as well make a bit of cash out of it.
